Fight Fit Academy prides itself on being a locally owned small business located in in the beautiful seaside community of Yeppoon. Our friendly and experienced team are committed to helping you believe and achieve your goals in a motivated and supportive environment.


We're a fully diverse training experience, with tailored workouts to make you feel the best version of yourself! 

High BPM and good vibes are mandatory in this hybrid weights + boxing-style fitness club. Custom workouts are developed by our experienced personal trainers, with each 45-minute group session consisting of various numbered workout stations - which are all guaranteed to make you SWEAT! 


We cater to all ages and fitness level abilities!

In addition, our experienced coaches deliver technique based Kid's Boxing classes, as well as Boxing and Muay Thai sessions for the more experienced fighter.

Here at Fight Fit we also provide recovery service packages which are designed to not only enhance performance but help prevent injury and promote health and wellness for mind as well as body.

Meet The Team


Coach Ben



Ben is the coach for the afternoon 'Advanced Boxing' classes and has achieved a remarkable 12+ years of experience in both Boxing & Muay Thai.


He's also completed an impressive lineup of 20+ fights and hosts the original and bi-annual 'Road to Glory' fight shows in Yeppoon.

Head Coach Dan

Owner and Coach for Vigor Performance & Coaching, Dan runs the weights-based and boxing classes here at FFA.

With a Bachelor of Exercise & Sport Science, Dan's true passion and area of expertise is keeping athletes strong and fit - and injury free.

 Dan has recently achieved 1 boxing bout and is super keen to grow his fighting record. Dan is also available for 1on1 personal training sessions.


Coach Matt

Head trainer for the afternoon 'Advanced Muay Thai' classes, Matt has competed in an impressive 10+ fights - each of them being a total knock out!

Matt has featured in various training camps over in Thailand to excell his current knowledge and skills in Muay Thai.


 Matt is also available for 1on1 Muay Thai sessions.


Coach Rach

Meet Rach, she's our most recent trainer to join the crew and she runs our Monday morning weights-based classes.

Previously being a sports remedial massage therapist for 14 years, Rach is extending her knowledge base within the industry and is following her passion with a degree in Physiotherapy.


A total sports fanatic, she also does surf boat rowing in her spare time and is a real champ at that!

Our classes give little boxers the best aspects of learning to box, focusing on non-contact drills, fitness and strength building exercises and working with partners.

The classes will get each individual skipping, running, jumping, punching bags, and working with a partner to improve hand-eye coordination, strength, and increase their core strength and overall fitness.

It’s also enormous fun and a matchless form of physical exercise. Joining our kids boxing sessions will introduce them to the sport in a safe and inspiring environment.

Our young boxers love the physical training as well as the social interaction. The classes are well structured but with a relaxed feel so there is always a lot of laughter and fun. Our coaches make sure every class has plenty of fitness and good boxing training which the boxers love. It’s safe for girls and boys between the ages of 8-15 years. 


Each session runs twice weekly on a Monday & Wednesday, with full 10-week term bookings taken in full at the beginning of each term.


These programs are designed for our up-and-coming fighters. Novice/experienced - if you are keen to get into the ring, then this class is for you.


Involves a warm up: jog/skip followed by bag work, pad work, technique work then sparring to finish.


Meet SWEAT + SWEAT 2.0 !

These sessions involve high intensity workouts, designed to increase your anaerobic capacity for a fitter, faster and more agile physique.


These classes provide you with boxing orientated workouts that incorporate a variety of exercises using bag work, boxing combinations, strength and conditioning equipment, skipping, and abdominal exercises.


A full body work out to help increase your cardiovascular endurance whilst also helping you gain boxing skills and self defense techniques.

The amazing benefits of our Infrared Sauna include assisting with the relief of inflammation, stiffness and soreness by increasing blood circulation and allowing the deep, penetrating infrared heat to relax muscles and carry off metabolic waste products, while delivering oxygen-rich blood to the muscles for a faster recovery.


Our NormaTec Compression Boots inflate and relax in segments to mimic the natural muscle pump of the body to improve blood flow and enhance lymphatic drainage reducing swelling in the legs and feet.
